Job Description
  • Design real world scenarios for database configuration, data protection and recovery, performance and stress testing
  • Design and execute test cases for testing of database data protection and recovery scenarios
  • Track and manage the testing progress
  • Create detailed Modification Requests (reports of “bugs” found) and work with software developers to track down and solve the problems found.
Required Skills
  • Middle to Senior level Database Admin or software engineer who has strong skill on database products like Oracle, Oracle RAC, SAP Oracle, Sybase, MYSQL, Documentum, DB2, etc
  • Hand-on experience on one or more than one UNIX platforms (Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP) and configurations (Volume Manager, Cluster)
  • Software Testing experience is plus
  • Bachelor degree and above from Computer Science or other related engineering field
  • Working permit
  • Good communication skill
  • Experience as leader is plus
  • Knowledge on SAN and storage is plus
