Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Description:

Chartis has an opportunity for a Medical Examiner in their Claims Processing Center.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

Review policies, and determine eligibility of claimants and policy status.

Apply applicable claim provisions and evaluate and investigate claims.

Adjudicate claims and process reinsurance if applicable.

Coordinate benefits between primary and secondary carriers.

File state forms as required.
