Web Application Developer / Back End Developer



Web Application Developer / Back End Developer

Looking for a talented Web Application Developer / Back End Developer / coder to build complex web applications! As a developer you will contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation across multiple platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a dynamic, start-up online media company!

Requirements:

- Experience in working directly with the full web technology stack: browsers, web servers, and databases (LAMP stack preferred)

- Knowledge of browser-side client technologies including Ajax , XHTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, JSON, cross-browser compatibility issues, optimization techniques is a plus.

- Experience with application development in PHP, Python, Java, JavaScript, and/or other modern programming language(s).

- Firm understanding of object-oriented design and development techniques

- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

- Experience working with SVN or working with other source code repositories.

- Track record of "getting things done."

- Knowledge of using Javascript toolkits such as YUI, jQuery, prototype a plus.

- Knowledge of current platforms (iPhone, Facebook, Android..)

- Web Application Developer, PHP, MySQL, AJAX , SOAP, Open Source Framework, Google API, YahooUI, Web Services, Online Advertising

- Experience working for a start-up company.

Preferred:


- Experience in webservices and in SOAP is a plus!
