Enginering Consultant
Engineer - Solar Turbines Incorporated seeks Engineering Consultant in San Diego, CA. Prov tech lead/ dir work of peers & subords. Assist w/app of SoLoNOx comb sys to low emissions gas turb mkts. Determine tech objs of des, res, dev, test & install comb sys for Solar's turbomach prods. Assume lead resp for all aspects of proj from mgmt of the budget/ sched, to tech dir of the detailed des & analyses, dev testing, prod & cust supp. Manage hardware procurement/ testing. Interface w/other eng disciplines during dev. Support cust svc, sales/ mktg, mfg & overhaul. Bach in Mech or Chem Eng (or acad equiv) + 12 yrs exp in job or rel, or Masters + 10 or PhD +7. Req exp w/des testing, & qual of lean, premixed gas turbine sys. Req exp in leading the devel & implem of multi-fuel, low emissions combustion sys for gas turbine engines from concept phase through prod intro.
