We are currently looking for a dynamic and energetic Sr. Electrical Design Engineer to join our team.

Description/Purpose of position:

Be part of the team that develops most advanced and energy efficient power supply systems for computing and networking server applications

Responsibilities:

The Sr. Electrical Design Engineer will provide leadership with R&D projects for advanced power conversion. This will include conducting research on new circuits and methods, designing and developing new products to meet customer requirements and future market demand, and developing and managing schedules. He/she will generate schematics for new designs, supervise junior engineers and the PCB design process, define necessary tests to ensure product quality, bring new products into manufacturing, and provide technical support for new and current products at CM’s.

Requirements:

BSEE/MSEE, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience with power converter design and handoff to manufacturing. Knowledge of Analog and Discrete Control Theory, familiarity with electromagnetism and physics in general, experience with SPICE or other simulation software. Knowledge of electronic power devices and a good understanding of PCB design. Prefer background in analog and mixed signal design, ability to design power magnetics for high frequency converters, experience with SMT components, knowledge of design tools, and ability to generate engineering documentation and create design analysis documents.
