Job Description

Develops and administers credit and collection programs in the US and will provide input on the same worldwide. Oversees investigation of credit risk in customers and suppliers and monitors the collection of amounts due to the organization. Obtains and maintains credit insurance in US and possibly worldwide. Designs and implements processes to improve cashflow and reduce receivables and to reduce DSO.

Assists the Chief Accounting Officer in the direction and management of an organization's treasury activities. These activities may include procurement, custody, and investment of funds and other assets. Develops relationships with bank relationship managers. Oversees the consolidation of cash reserves across entities. Works in conjunction with the worldwide Tax Director to ensure cash movements are supported by loan agreements. Also works with Sr. Director of External Reporting to ensure that the cash movements are accounted for properly. Will be involved with currencies from many countries around the world.

Required skills

Ability to lead a collection unit and manage a treasury function.

Experience required

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 7 years of experience in the field.
• Experience must include oversight of international cash balances and investment portfolio as well as international credit risks.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Manages a credit and collection staff.
