Sutter Gould Medical Foundation is a not-for-profit health care organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people in the communities it serves. With 17 care centers in Modesto, Stockton and five other communities in the Central Valley, a full range of medical care is available at convenient locations. Physician services are provided by Gould Medical Group, Inc., serving Central Valley residents for more than 50 years.

Performs all aspects of Ultrasound Technology provided by the department, in accordance with the guidelines and policies established by the Ultrasound Department and in accordance with the American College of Radiology. Provides Lead Technologist information regarding daily operation of the department. Assists in maintaining data for Continuous Quality Improvement reporting. Through Lead Technologist coordinates the staff members for PTO and On-Call schedules. Helps ensure that all regulated Quality Control parameters are completed and data is available for review.

Sutter Gould Medical Foundation (SGMF)is a non-profit, multi-specialty health care organization affiliated with Sutter Health. Based in Modesto, SGMF provides quality medical care, health education and research activities in a five-county area. SGMF's medical staff includes family practitioners, internists and pediatricians, as well as a range of specialist physicians. Services include imaging, nuclear medicine, a health library, health education programs, occupational medicine, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, infertility counseling, weight management.

Successful completion of AMA Accredited School of Ultrasound Technology. Must be registered by the ARDMS in at least 2 specialities, with RVT a must for one of them. Must have 2 years experience in Vascular Ultrasound. Current CPR required. Other certification may be required if department develops in other modalities. Clinical and practical experience during Ultrasound Technology Training is essential. Ability to perform examinations of excellent technical quality, in an efficient manner. Must have or develop an in depth knowledge of cross sectional anatomy. Knowledge of Ultrasound Instrumentation operation and quality control procedures is necessary. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Knowledge of departmental computer systems operations is essential. Working knowledge of PACS Systems. Able to use computers as a resource in the daily operations of an Imaging Department to research patient information and monitor appointment schedules.
