Senior Partner, New Business Director
Responsibilities:
• Lead in all aspects of new business development – prospecting, sourcing, outreach, negotiating and closing (final assignment presentations done in collaboration with assigned pitch team). • Create business development plans focusing on revenue growth via existing and new initiatives leveraging agency's individual and collective assets: planning, buying, insights, digital, among others • Bring in Blue Chip national clients from diverse industries - entertainment, financial, technology, travel, among others. • Identify key target customers and work closely with them to articulate the benefits and advantages of this company's services. • Establish a target prospect, "hot list." • Build and maintain positive and proactive relationships with industry review consultants. • Be the face of this company and initial contact point for new business prospects. • Serve as the strategic liaison among prospect, account team and agency management, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of our business. • Develop and manage process for defining and developing new business leads. • Develop and lead the creative RFP response process, deliver compelling credentials presentations tailored to individual prospect situation and needs; ensure submissions that stand out from the pack; identifying and managing the creation and development of presentation materials including compelling PowerPoint presentations for New business meetings; actively participate in the development of agency marketing materials. • Work closely with pitch team to help manage and facilitate the presentation development process including timetables, presentation materials and outside resources • Increase top-of-mind awareness with specific target prospects and with advertising community at-large. • Represent the agency at appropriate meetings, events and other networking opportunities. • Identify strategies and tactics to increase and enhance this agency's overall awareness and reputation • Identify and schedule all resources for every project and deliver work on time and on budget. • Other activities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
• Must have media/marketing/industry knowledge • Full understanding of client/agency relationship • Highly detail oriented and follow through • Must posses the ability to "finesse" • Excellent leadership, team building and communication skills • A successful new business track record is a must • Entrepreneurial spirit should be a given
