Senior Financial Anlayst position with responsibilites including financial modeling and FP&A.



Global Investment Company is seeking a knowledgable Senior Financial Analyst to support the VP of Finace on various finance projects including financial modeling on emerging business issues, including both ROI and scenario analysis. This position will also be a business partner and support executives across the company in terms of their FP&A process and helping them make concrete business decisions that make financial sense. Additional duties will include creation of operational dashboards, capital planning support, etc. This position will be a hands on role that can move into more of a Management position in the future. Qualified candidates for this role will have 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience including experience with financial modeling, forcasting, budgeting, variance analysis, reporting, etc. BS degree and advanced experience with Microsoft Office is required. MBA and investment/financial services experience preferred.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in the financial planning and analysis team and provide critical support to the Firm’s Senior Management. The Sr. Financial Analyst utilizes advanced analytical skills to lead highly complex analysis projects and provide financial analysis/guidance for the most complex business units.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, Enhance and maintain detailed business models for long range planning, ROI and scenario analyses. Regularly plans and conducts highly complex analysis projects, involving thorough understanding of all financial processes and their interaction.

  • Help manage the annual planning process. Makes recommendations for improvements.

  • Drive the creation of an operational dashboard to monitor the Firm’s performance

  • Partner with strategic business units to help drive the business

  • Participate in Capital Planning and/or monthly forecast and review process. Independently reviews and analyzes the most complex departmental budgets.

  • Functions as a subject matter expert and/or utilizes very broad finance expertise.
