JFK Int'l Airport Terminal 3 Delta Arrivals - HMS Host Training Room
The Barista is responsible for fulfilling orders and completing sales transactions within a Starbucks establishment and performing other support functions which may include cleaning the food preparation, customer seating or stock areas and maintaining inventory.
Specific duties include:
• Greeting customers and taking food orders
• Providing information about products and looking for opportunity to "up-sell" products
• Preparing all drink orders to Starbucks and HMSHost standards
• Operating a cash register and receiving payment from customers in cash or credit card, accurately counting and providing change to customers as required
• Educating and informing customers about the differences among coffee beans, coffee preparation and home brewing methods

If driving, parking is available in Terminal 3 Green Parking. Parking rates: $3 for the first half hour or part, $6 for up to one hour, $3 for each half hour or part thereafter.
If arriving by Mass Transit, make connection to the Air train via Q10, Q3 OR B15 buses going to JFK airport, take it to the last stop, (Terminal 4). Walk into the terminal 4, go up the escalator and make connection to the air train, or take the A train to Lefferts BLvd and connect to the air train. Take the Air train in the direction to terminals 2/3. Get off at the stop for Terminal 2/3.
