The Strategic Sourcing organization is responsible for managing the end to end sourcing process for Barcap, BarWealth (IT and non-IT spend) and Barclays, PLC (IT spend only) to optimize supplier spend, balancing costs against service levels and risks. Main Function Analysis and Production of critical operational MI and Reports Main Duties The key responsibilities of the Analyst: Produce weekly/monthly pipeline reports and associated category / resource analysis. Produce ad hoc/monthly category spend analysis Produce Vendor Reports quarterly and on request Develop and conduct training within GTS on spend MI including the ability to carry out additional user specific analysis. Gather key reporting requirements to develop standard GTS reporting suite for use by the reporting teams, category managers and GTS management. Assist in developing strategy for GTS reporting ongoing including repository / distribution / link with other projects etc . Define improvements and additional development to current BW Spend cube conducting / co-ordinating UAT on behalf of GTS. Define improvements and additional development to current Sourcing Workbench (Deals and Contracts tool) conducting / co-ordinating UAT on behalf of GTS. Representation / Involvement in other projects that overlap / impact GTS MI eg : cost transparency project / P2P project. Maintenance of GTS Intranet Monitor monthly SAP financial reports Assist in developing efficient processes around the day to day operational running of GTS including new starter/leaver processesPerson Requirements Qualifications /education - Essential: Educated to degree level or equivalent CIPS qualifications Qualifications /education - Preferred:Educated to degree level or equivalent Experience required – EssentialMinimum of 3 years business experience Experience required - Preferred: Experience of analysis within financial services and Barcap systems Knowledge of Sourcing Function and metrics very usefulSkills and knowledge Essential: Business Analyst with in depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel/PowerPoint).
