The Director of On-line Operations is responsible to drive and deliver the on-line supply chain strategy for the Entertainment and Devices Division and our customers. You will get to interface with key members of the business while working with the coolest consumer and technology products in the marketplace. This is a leadership role where policies and programs are developed to help enhance profit and revenue. You will lead a team of high caliber employees in addition to managing a network of outsource vendors that support tour on-line business.
QUALIFICATIONS
· This candidate should have experience in forging new business opportunities, P&L management, people development, retail on-line operations, supply chain, forecasting, and a background in global e-commerce.
· The right candidate will be flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting and comfortable with computer databases and tools. They must also be decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.
· The right candidate must be able to operate successfully in a lean organization and also be able to create a vision that can scale with growing volume. He or she also must have demonstrated flexibility in building organizations through various phases of its evolution, must be able to work in a highly-demanding, but collegial environment where teamwork is a must.
· The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of hands-on, senior level on-line business experience.
· The successful candidate must be able to develop clear thinking and business rationale for new features & services and interact with technology development teams to deliver a world class customer experience.
· The candidate must be an effective leader and communicator in working with partners and vendors, as well as with internal colleagues and groups.
· Established success of developing and managing Key Performance Indicators, examples include GMROI, Inventory Turns, Fill Rate, In -Stock, contribution margin (cost to serve) or other supply chain KPI’s.
· Demonstrated Project Management skills working internal cross-team and cross-country (international) in terms of managing projects (consisting of driving with the customer involving supply chain initiatives, efficiencies, processes, etc)
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain related discipline, MBA preferred.
