Patient Service Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Patient Service Representative works in a local hospital screening uninsured patients for medical assistance (Medicaid/charity assistance programs). They connect patients with the local agencies that provide assistance programs and assist with the application process as much as possible. We currently have 1st shift positions available 8-4:30pm.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Valid Drivers license is required
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Experience with Medicaid eligibility process is preferred
  • Social Services background is a plus
  • Customer Service experience is a plus
  • Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
