Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center - Torrance has served the South

I. POSITION SUMMARY
Directs the Patient Room Environment Quality Control Supervisors and performs
patient room inspections in preparation of patient admittance. This position
must coordinate the collaborative efforts of multiple levels of management to
aesthetically, hygienically and functionally prepare all rooms while managing
expectations of patients.
IV. MINIMUM SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION REQUIRED
Required:
1. Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position as defined
on the RU-91 form.
2. Requires the ability to establish and maintain a courteous and cooperative
(service-oriented) working relationship with patients, family, visitors,
hospital staff and co-workers.
3. Requires the ability to fluently speak, read write and understand the English
language.
4. High school graduate, supplemented by college education in supervision and
environmental services courses preferred.
5. Minimum of 5 years experience at supervisor/manager level in a hospital
Environmental Services department or related customer service experience
preferred.
6. Requires knowledge of regulatory agencies that pertain to hospital food
services and environmental, ex: Title 22, JCAHO.
