| | |  |  | Phlebotomist Lebanon Junction, KY Job Description : Would you like to join the LabCorp family of professionals dedicated to providing excellence in clinical laboratory testing? We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to work at our client located in Lebanon Junction, KY. This is a part time position working 8:30AM-2PM Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Skill and comprehension level required: · Phlebotomy certification (where required) from an accredited agency, completion of an approved phlebotomy training course, or equivalent experience through previous employment · Minimum of two years verifiable phlebotomy experience · Exhibit proficiency in all of the following: blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, urine drug screen collections, paternity collections, breath/saliva alcohol testing, LCM/Cyber Tools, TestCup, pediatric blood collections, difficult draws (patients in mental retardation facilities drug rehabilitation facilities, prisons, psychiatric facilities or similar facilities). · Has comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety, and is able to effectively communicate the importance of compliance and safety to other employees. · Possess the ability and skills necessary to provide orientation and training for patient service technicians · Must pass data entry test with a minimum score of 3000 KSPH and a 90% accuracy rate · Must pass a written phlebotomy test and exhibit proficiency in phlebotomy skills by passing a mock test with 20 of 22 steps passed. License/Certification/Education: · Requires a high school diploma or equivalent · At least two years of experience · Meets all state and local requirements for Phlebotomist Job Requirements : High School Diploma, or equivalent 2 or more years of Phlebotomy experience Experience on patients of all ages Excellent communication skills Must be able to work independently, as well as with a team Able to pass a data entry test Organized |
