Position Description:

Consumer electronics and gadgets are commanding ever increasing complex functionality while demanding extreme low-power operations. The goal of Marvell's Power Management (PM) solutions is to provide TRUE “System-wide” power-optimized solutions to our customers in various consumer products such as cellular phones, gaming devices, PDAs etc. We specialize in utilizing innovative digitally assisted analog, mixed signal + DSP techniques to add real values to our system solutions. We focus in providing high performance, power-optimized, small form factor, added flexibility, ease of use, and cost effective system solutions.
As an IC designer or Senior IC designer in this group, you will have the opportunity to utilize your analog/ mixed signal skills to research and develop new power control/delivery topologies & solutions, and be responsible for bringing your creation through various phases of the product development, including design and simulation, layout, test and evaluation, and ultimately product launch. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to and work with other winning teams within Marvell.



Qualifications:

Candidate must have either a Masters or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering with 0 to 2 years of relevant industrial experience to be considered for a regular or Senior level design position. He/she must have good communication, organization, analytical and problem solving skills. A solid understanding of analog or mixed signal IC design concepts is a must. Direct experience with Power Management Products is plus but not mandatory.
