Responsible for a variety of functions such as budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, CAPEX viability (analysis of return on investment, net present value, lease/purchase, pay back). May perform one or more of the following duties: We are looking for a seasoned professional with a comprehensive knowledge of accounting concepts, practices and procedures who can resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways. Individual must demonstrate a strong working knowledge of accounting policies/procedures, GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, Revenue and Expense Recognition Policies, POC accounting and internal controls.
Functional Description:
Responsibilities include advanced accounting and analysis in support of multiple projects and contracts. Provide expert advisory capability and interpretation on all levels of financial data. Provide a leadership role in contract kick-off meetings between sales, operations, finance and accounting. Networks with senior management in own areas of responsibility. Perform variance analysis and research to ensure financial information is recorded accurately. Analyze financial statements, balance sheets, monthly trend reports and other financial reports for completeness, accuracy and compliance and provide recommendations to management. Leads development of solutions for improving accounting processes. Demonstrates a knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply concepts in performing advanced analytic and accounting functions to solve problems of a non-routine nature. Mentor peers within functional groups and coordinate accounting issues with other departments, locations and divisions, normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others.
Education and Typical Years Experience
Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting and 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience. CPA a plus but not required.

Knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply
JDE Experience and Advanced Excel skills
