Software Engineer L1 Drivers

Job description:
-Applicant must be comfortable with quickly learning new technologies, have strong design and problem solving skills and must be a team player.
-Key responsibilities will also include developing Board Support Package & Bootloader of embedded system.
-The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing layer 1 control and device driver for embedded system of Mobile TV.
-In addition, you will participate in system software architecture design and implementation.
-Another necessary aspect of the position will be a problem isolation and timely resolution of issues with existing drivers, working with the Apps Engineering Team for a field deployed release.

Requirements:
- BSEE or CS and 2+ years of experience in embedded software development using C language under RTOS environment. MSEE preferred
- Understanding of microprocessor and system-on-chip architectures (SRAM, ROM, Bus)
- Real time embedded systems experience using Tensilica or ARM microprocessors
- Solid knowledge of DMA, interrupt, IIC, SPI, SDIO, and etc.
- Must have experience with ICE, JTAG, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and other tools that are commonly used to debug embedded communication software
- Strong written communication skills in the form of Functional, Design, and Test Plan Documentation
- Assembly language programming experience is a plus
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplined team environment
