What are we looking for:

Currently in our Sacramento we are looking for teammates with specific utility experience to fill the following positions:

Utility Laborer – Individuals that know how to work with dry utilities and get the job done right

Laborer with TCP/Barricade experience- Someone that has experience drawing ansd setting up TCPs

CDL/Laborers – Not just drivers but working teammates with a Class A CDL

(CDL means Commercial Drivers License)

Equipment Operators – Individuals who have excellent heavy equipment experience around dry utilities

Underground Construction Foreman – Able to operate equipment but must be experienced in AT&T practices

Utility Laborer:

The purpose of a Laborer at Team Fishel is to assist the Foreman in completing the project safely, on-time, and within the customer's specifications for quality. Set up and dismantle work site cones, barricades, and signs. Flag traffic, Signal Operators when moving equipment, Hand locate existing utilities. Prepare the site, maintain a clean and safe site, gather materials, stage materials. Work with power and hand tools. Measure depth of excavation, install product safely and effectively. Operate small equipment. Assist with maintenance and securing equipment. Demonstrate safe habits. Experience in utility construction is desired.

Must have:

Ability to communicate with Teammates
Valid Drivers license
Willingness to work and follow directions
Prior “dry utility” construction experience
Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.

Utility Laborer with TCP/Baracade experiance:

The purpose of a TCP/Baracade Laborer at Team Fishel is to assist the Foreman in completing the project safely, on-time, and within the customer's specifications for quality. Be able to draw traffic control plans as well as set up and dismantle work site cones, barricades, and signs. Flag traffic, Signal Operators when moving equipment, Hand locate existing utilities. Prepare the site, maintain a clean and safe site, gather materials, stage materials. Work with power and hand tools. Measure depth of excavation, install product safely and effectively. Operate small equipment. Assist with maintenance and securing equipment. Demonstrate safe habits. Experience in utility construction is desired.

Must have:

Previous experience drawing and setting up traffic control plans
Valid Drivers license
Willingness to work and follow directions
Prior “dry utility” construction experience
Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.

CDL / Laborer:

The purpose of a CDL/Laborer at Team Fishel to assist the Foreman in completing the project safely, on time and within the customer’s specifications for quality, and to safely load and transport equipment and materials to the job-site. The CDL/Laborer must also transport and dump materials such as sand, gravel, topsoil, and bituminous paving materials. Experience in utility construction is desired.

Must have:

Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License
Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing)
Ability to communicate with Teammates
Willingness to work and follow directions
Prior “dry utility” construction experience

Equipment Operator:

The purpose of an Equipment Operator at Team Fishel is to safely operate excavation equipment to install aerial and underground utilities. Equipment includes, but is not limited to: excavator, backhoe, trencher, cable plow and directional drill. Utilities include electric line, CATV and telephone cables, and gas and water pipelines. Experience in utility construction is desired.

Must have:

Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License
Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing)
3 years construction driving experience
Ability to communicate with Teammates
Willingness to work and follow directions
Prior “dry utility” construction experience

Underground Construction Foreman:

The role of a Foreman at Team Fishel, is to ensure the project is done on-time, or before deadline. While also ensuring quality production and a safe working environment for himself and crew. A pre-employment drug screen is required.

Must have:

AT&T work and bid experience

Competent person training in trenching and excavation

Confined space training

Valid drivers license

5-7 years related experience in construction

Ability to communicate with customers and Teammates

Class-A CDL and aerial placement is desired
