Job Description:


Position Summary:



Maintains can making machinery to ensure efficient operation and quality results. This includes automatic and semi-automatic presses and other metal forming machinery as well as a variety of conveyance equipment






Essential Job Functions (listing most important first):

1.

Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills to adjust, repair, replace parts and overhaul equipment when necessary.





2.

Conducts quality checks and reacts appropriately to the results.





3.

Set up and adjustment of equipment to meet specifications





4.

A good safe working attitude and understanding of general workplace hazards and proper practices such as lock out tag out to protect the safety of self and others.





5.

Operate in plant mobile equipment; lift trucks, lifts, booms, etc..






Essential Job Requirements:


EDUCATION


High school or equivalent, trade school required with out experience





EXPERIENCE

Desired 2+ years in manufacturing environment





REQUIRED SKILLS

Mechanic aptitude, proficient with all common hand tools, strong trouble shooting ability.





PREFERRED SKILLS

Can making experience is a big plus.





PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to lift up to 50 lbs, physically fit to climb, bend and work off of lifts and platforms, mentally fit to work safely under pressure to complete tasks in timely manner.
