Job description:

We are looking for someone to receives material into the Purchase order system to assure the accuracy of bills and the timely payment of invoices. Receives catalog items on-line into the AMAPS system which makes them available to requesters and begins the QA inspection cycle when required.

The position also works with the Receiving Clerk to prioritize delivery, move necessary items to QA "ON TEST" locations and locate released material in the SAP system. This job also processes general requisitions through the SAP system. Receives material on-line in the Purchase Order system to close PO 's and assure prompt payment of vendor invoices. Contact Purchasing Department when problems arise due to differences between what the system says and what the packing list says, or when PO 's are not in the system to be received. Assign the proper department numbers to freight bills and forward them to traffic for processing and payment. Work with the Receiving Clerk moving material needing QA inspection to the "ON TEST" area. Locate "OFF TEST" material in the SAP system and do any needed adjustment to the quantity received to account for sampling. Match and file in numeric order all delivery tickets and packing lists after material is delivered. Receive and locate all inter-plant shipments. Verify and correct as needed, catalog numbers, lot numbers and units of measure on inbound shipments. Notify recipients of incoming perishable, frozen, refrigerated and rush deliveries and arrange pick-up and/or delivery. Process general requisitions in SAP system to facilitate picking and delivery of stores item.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have prior SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint experience. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
