The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) position is located in our Foster City, CA Corporate Headquarters or our Reston, VA sales office. This is the second HRBP position the company has added this year in response to our 25% year over year growth. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources and will support our US President's organization (Data Center Operations, Sales, Contracts and Revenue and Engineering) nationwide. The role will be responsible for ensuring close business partnerships with the functional managers and serves as a partner, change agent, HR expert and advisor to the functional leaders and HR leadership.
Key Job Responsibilities: - Represents the HR function by communicating philosophies, processes and capabilities to managers.
- Maintains a working knowledge of employment laws, market practices, general business environment and applies these operationally.
- Facilitate resolution to complex employee relations matters and minimizing risks to company.
- Provide ongoing coaching to management staff.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new and existing HR programs.
- Responsible for the tracking and trending of HR data in areas of responsibility.
- Supports employee development by working with management on individual and/or group training needs.
- Leads and/or contributes to the customization and implementation of global HR policies and programs.
- Supports the annual review process and ongoing performance management to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organizations the role covers.
- Provides input to the functional HR plans and objectives.
- Leads or contributes to initiatives that will enhance motivation, team-building and general welfare.
- Responsible for coordinating and/or delivering required compliance training to the company.
- Partners closely with managers and HR to ensure the building of a high performance culture, with an emphasis on:
- Integration of talent.
- Disciplined performance management and feedback.
- Proactively identifying employee and organizational needs and raising awareness.
- Effective coordination of reorganizations, redesigns, acquisitions, etc.
- Engagement and retention of key talent.
- Act as role model for the values of the company and personally demonstrate behavior consistent with our culture.
o Lead and/or contribute to special projects as needed.
Qualifications: - At least 6-10 years HR experience in both Generalist and Specialist roles (Employee Relations, Coaching/Facilitation, Organizational Design, etc.).
- Undergraduate degree in business or related HR field.
- HR certifications preferred (PHR and/or SPHR).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with IT systems, particularly HR applications .
- Some travel required (10%).
Experience: - Proactive collaboration within a HR team.
- Demonstrated ability to impact and influence managers
- Operating experience within a complex, changing environment
- Change management expertise preferred
- Cross-functional experience
- Prefer past supervisory experience
