Provider Enrollment/Credentialing Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provider Enrollment/Credentialing Specialists work in all phases of provider

enrollment, ensuring the timely and accurate enrollment of providers in the various payers. Other duties will be assigned.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Two years college degree preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years credentialing and or privileging experience within a hospital or managed care environment is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and excellent follow up skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people (physicians and hospitals).
• Provides highest level of customer service for both internal and external customers.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work and communicate with coworkers and outside agencies
• Ability to present oneself in a courteous and professional manner at all times
• Ability to stay on task with little or no supervision
