Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Project Manager. This is for the Project: Replacing Payment Gateway. Currently they have software in place that processes all of the Credit Card payments from IVR and Online. The current software Protobase takes the payment information and feeds it to their preferred Bank. Our Client normally utilizes Waterfall Methodology. This project will utilize an Iterative Approach (6-8 Week Iterations, bringing over piece by piece - batch processing, online processes). Our Client is creating a new Payment Gateway based on Web Services and a Service Bus, where the web service talks to the bank directly, including connecting the IVR and current billing systems directly to the Bank. Typical Project Management responsibilities include deliverables, budgeting, tracking, creating work plans, managing issues log, etc. This person will be interfacing with the A/R team and Web Services team.
Previous project experience with Payment Processes, credit card processing and an understanding of Web Services is preferred. Communication skills are very important as the candidate will be interacting with end clients. The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following:
