Specific Duties:
  1. Develops a project plan in compliance with corporate standards, sets timelines which will reflect the necessary activities, deliverables and resource assignments, and will work in coordination with participating Team Leaders.

  2. Monitors and leads project execution and closure activities in accordance with project management and Dart standards.

  3. Coordinates the efforts of numerous individuals who span several teams and groups within the corporation to meet the commitments documented in the project plan.

  4. Aligns the activities needed for project success between various corporate departments responsible for production planning, packaging procurement, legal and environmental issues, production, distribution and other areas necessary to turn a project concept into a viable production process.

  5. Conducts project management activities including risk management, change management, communication management dependent on identified project needs.

  6. Provides leadership and team building activities. Looks ahead for potential problems and their solutions and identifies alternative paths for accomplishment of objectives.

  7. Provides regular updates to project stakeholders and databases. Communicates with the project team as well as corporate departments regarding the status of the project, ensuring responsible departments and individuals are addressing activities according to the timeline and with the necessary priority.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Five (5) years project management experience, three (3) years as a project management leader plus two (2) years of related project management experience.
  • Must provide a resume or cover letter detailing experience with project management techniques.
  • Three (3) years documented experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software.
  • Three (3) years documented experience with Word and Excel.
  • Must have PMP certification or documented project management certificate.
  • Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills required.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with strong reasoning skills and the ability to understand statistical analysis.

Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Use of Microsoft Project 2003 preferred.
  • Experience with engineering/thermoforming project management preferred.
