Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the processes and activities that focus on restoring service after an incident occurs
- Monitors environment health and the facilitation of high severity incidents to improve the state of service availability and continuity
- Documents all problems (hardware, application, facility, etc.) and takes corrective action as required
- Interfaces with other departments as required
- Monitors AS400/iSeries systems for errors
- Reviews AS400/iSeries job logs
- Monitors networked servers
- Performs minor troubleshooting
- Assists customers resolving issues related to business operations and monitoring of system replication processes
- Ensures proper execution of notification and escalation procedures
- Monitors for system performance degradation
- Manages processes for compliance with Sarbanes/Oxley rules and HIPAA regulations

- AS400 iSeries environment experience as an Operator, Developer or Systems Analyst - 1+ years
- OS/400 commands line experience (green screen)- 1+ years
- MS Windows XP, Word and Excel - Proficient
- Help Systems Robot and Mimix skill set experience - 1+ years

- HP OpenView Service Desk 4.5 experience
