The Marketing Assistant reports to the Marketing Manager and is responsible for coordinating the advertising and marketing activities of the company by working closing with the marketing team within SleepTech, as well as with its hospital and physician partners.


Job Responsibilities

· Works with marketing team on strategic initiatives relative to patient and physician communications and provides tactical support for those directives

· Assists Marketing Manager in selection of most appropriate and cost effective media through pre and post testing, measurement and evaluation of investment

· Coordinates promotions, event planning and sponsorship opportunities

· Manages and maintains production of promotional items, as well as administrative and marketing collateral

· Assists in day-to-day support of marketing team including field Account Managers

· Responsible for working with Marketing team on website maintenance and improvement strategies

· Gathers competitive data, produces marketing intelligence, and assists with business development initiatives as directed by Vice President

· Compiles various reports as directed by Vice President

· Responsible for tracking marketing expenditures by location

· Maintains key databases for marketing initiatives and customer relations

· Provides administrative support to marketing team and Vice President


Job Requirements

· 1 to 3 years experience in marketing, public relations, promotion and/or event management in marketing or related field

· Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related discipline

· Work independently with little direction; plan and organize work; meet schedules and timelines

· Strong computer skills necessary

· Strong ability to work collaboratively

· Exceptional organizational skills

· Strong time management/multi-tasking skills

· Medical industry marketing experience preferred
