Clinical Nurse Educator Stanly Regional Medical Center is seeking a full-time Clinical Nurse Educator. Responsibilities include: planning, coordinating and facilitating clinical education within the hospital; development of clinical staff in coordination with the goals and mission of the organization; nursing orientation and monitoring the development of nurses through initial and ongoing training and education. Successful candidate must possess a baccalaureate degree in nursing with current NC licensure. Three years of recent clinical experience required with at least two years in area of specialty to include one or more of the following areas: critical care, medical-surgical, ED, OB. Documented experience in training or leading adult education in formal or informal setting is also required. Director, Nutrition Therapy The Director of Nutrition Therapy is responsible for the development and administration of clinical nutrition in the hospital setting. Specific responsibilities include: Supervision of the planning of menus, modified diets prescribed by the medical staff, nourishments, supplements, enteral and parental feedings; monitoring nutritional care, managing physician ordered therapeutic diets and providing education to patients. This position Directs, supervises, and coordinates activities of Therapeutic Diet Clerks and Clinical Dietitians; plans, organizes and conducts educational programs for dietary staff, medical, nursing, community and other personnel; coordinates services for Stanly Manor, Home Care, Hospice, and The Cancer Center. A Bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics required, successful completion of an accredited internship program and must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed by the licensure Board of the state of North Carolina. Two years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical facility preferred. Training should include but not limited to patient assessment, diet therapy, patient and staff education. Medical Assistants, Emergency Department Full time openings for Medical Assistants in the Emergency Department. Primary responsibilities include: initial assessment of the ED patient, obtaining vitals and performing patient reassessments as warranted. This position will continually assess and monitor the needs of the patient and family members during their ED visit and will serve as a patient advocate by promoting and providing prompt and courteous service, To qualify, you must have completed an approved program for Medical Assistants or 2 have equivalent experience/training.
