Responsible for guiding the design, development of various enhancements and strategic projects to support the administrative system using J2EE, WebSphere Application Server v6.1, MQSeries, and an Oracle 10g database. Design, code, test, debug, document, and support all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. Coordinate, administer, and support activities related to data planning, data recovery, and development. Write SQL. Use JDBC to connect to relational databases. Provide support and solutions to critical production issues. Create Java Server Pages (JSPs), servlets and Enterprise Java Beans. Effectively communicate technical solutions or designs to various team members. Participate in the design and development of various enhancements and strategic projects. Use Java, J2EE, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, Web Services, OJAF, HTML, Java Script, XML, JMS, AutoSys, WebSphere Application Developer, Rational Software Architecture, PVCS Version Controller, PL/SQL Developer, Team Track, and SubVersion(SVN) in this position. Qualifications · Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
· 2 years of related experience.
· Must have demonstrated experience with design and development using J2EE, WebSphere Application Server v6.1,
QSeries, and an Oracle 10g database; writing SQL and using JDBC to connect relational databases; and creation of Java
Server Pages (JSPs), servlets and Enterprise Java Beans.
