Habilitation Specialist

The Kelliher Center in Arlington , MA is seeking a Full Time Habilitation Specialist for a 1:1, staff to client, ratio position. This individual will be involved in coordinating and implementing social, recreational, and vocational activities through outings, in-house work, volunteer work, and group discussions. Activities will be divided between a Day Habilitation Program and Employment Supports Program at the Kelliher Center . The right candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Flexible, creative, outgoing
  • 1-2 years experience working with people with disabilities.
  • Experience working with people with behavioral plans and behavioral needs
  • Experience running groups or leading people in organized activities
  • Bachelors degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
  • Experience with data collection and note writing
  • Basic computer skills

Schedule is Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm
