METAL/NON METAL MINE SAFETY AND HEALTH INSPECTOR FEDERAL EMPLOYMENT SCREENING 7:00 AM DECEMBER 5 & 6, 2009 COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES 1500 Illinois Street Golden, CO 80401 The Mine Safety and Health Administration is seeking candidates for Metal/Non Metal General and Electrical Mine Inspectors in the Rocky Mountain District: Denver, CO; Mesa, AZ; Topeka and Lawrence Areas, KS; Helena, MT; Rapid City, SD; Salt Lake City, UT and Green River, WY. A minimum of one year of experience performing on-site safety/health inspection, analysis, monitoring, or evaluation work in mining, occupational health, or closely related industries such as building construction, excavation, & heavy industrial plant settings is required. All applicants must bring a valid driver's license and a resume in order to participate. Registration begins at 7:00 am and ends when seating capacity is reached, or when testing begins at 8:00 am. Candidates who pass math and writing tests will be interviewed in the afternoon for possible employment.
