Sales Manager: Club Demonstration Services Inc.

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) , the nation’s largest consumer experience marketing company, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our dynamic Special Events team at our corporate office in San Diego .

The Sales Manager is responsible for working through systems to drive the implementation and execution of processes, sales initiatives, and strategies. The Sales Manager will also build and manage internal and external relationships with existing clients, our retail customer, and a team of direct reports.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establishing new relationships within our retail customer and their supplier base so as to drive incremental business to our revenue line
• Maintaining and expanding commercial relationships with existing clients
• Development of new service offerings that enhance the existing event infrastructure in place to add value to our retailer and vendors in innovative ways
• Manage direct reports in a manner that supports the company’s Great Places to Work ^® initiative

EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in sales, marketing, or related field
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
• CPG sales background calling on major retail chains preferred
• Event marketing experience a plus
• Ability to influence without authority
• Experience building and managing teams
• Ability to problem solve independently
• Strong organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively with constantly changing priorities and deadlines
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong computer skills desired
