Job Description:

Responsible for the review of loans, development of asset disposition plans and the execution of those plans. Manage risk and exposure to the client by contacting the borrowers, evaluating borrower's ability and intent to repay the loan(s) and develop exit strategies for the best possible outcome for both the client and the borrower. Analyze the financial aspects of the loan, property value and borrowers and make recommendations for foreclosure commencement as needed. Responsible for managing client assets to improve cash flow and mitigate losses.

Principal Accountabilities:
Minimize loss for the client.
Analyze loan history, property values and borrower financial capabilities and develop a plan to resolve the past due payments.
Contact borrowers to identify reason for default and determine their ability/willingness to repay.
Obtain/analyze financial information from the borrower that will be used to develop a loan disposition plan.
Research borrower issues.
Monitor all aspects associated with the disposition plan.
Understand and adhere to federal regulatory investor and insured regulations and guidelines.
Submit loss mitigation workout recommendations according to and in compliance with investor guidelines.

Requirements:

Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
Preferred: College degree in Business Management, Accounting, Real Estate.
Fluency in Spanish.
3 - 5 years in the mortgage industry or financial services industry.
1 - 3 years in default management.
3-5 years working with customers to resolve past due balances.
Experience analyzing loan and borrower data and developing asset disposition plans.
Thorough understanding of loan documents, contracts and property valuations.
Knowledge of subordinate lien default management.
Client relationship experience.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills w/ customers, clients, vendors and other departments.
Outstanding customer service skills/ethic.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
