Independant auto repair shop looking for a skilled, experienced technician.



Overall Job Description:

Perform accurate and timely driveability/computer/electrical diagnostics, repairs and service on late-model foreign and domestic cars, trucks and SUV's.

Duties:

* Diagnose MIL, CEL, SES, ABS/TRAC, Airbag/SRS lights.

* Diagnose customer complaints of problems related to driveability issues (noises when turning, stopping, etc).

* Perform manufacturer's service recommendations on European, Asian and Domestic vehicles (service plan A/B, 30-60-90-105 mile packages, etc.)

* Perform timing belt replacemnt on Audi/VW, Honda, Toyota per specification.

* Collaborate with Shop Manager and other techs to diagnose difficult problems.

* Update personal job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications, IATN, etc.

Skills/Qualifications:

ASE Certification, 3 years minimum of professional experience, good driving record, high energy level, dependability, persistence, time management, attendance, independence, safety management, problem solving, dealing with complexity, analyzing information.
