Job Description:

Senior Staff Accountant/Assistant Controller

We are currently looking for a motivated, energetic Senior Accountant/Assistant Controller with strong attention to detail for a Hartford , CT located wholesale supply business. This is an excellent opportunity for a self starting individual with 5+ years accounting experience in a wholesale/distribution environment. Your day to day responsibilities include a full range of accounting duties, including:

• General Ledger
• Month end closing activities
• P&L analysis
• Account reconciliations.

The qualified candidate will bring:
• A four-year accounting/finance degree.
• 5 - 7+ years accounting experience (distribution and/or manufacturing environment experience strongly desired)
• Strong computer skills including Excel are a requirement.

CPA is preferred.
