Speech Therapist for Early Intervention Program - Birth to 3 Years Old in Reedsburg, WI



Position Summary
Excellent opportunity to work with children and families in their home and other community settings. Strong emphasis on team approach and family strength philosophy. Responsible for providing ideas and techniques to help a family enhance their child’s development. This is a full-time, 30 hour per week (with flexibility on scheduled hours) position and requires the use of a personal car to travel to client's homes as all therapy is completed in the families home. Homes are located throughout Sauk County with the Birth to 3 office being in Reedsburg. Mileage is reimbursed between homes at the current rate of 0.485 per mile.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in speech and language pathology from an accredited institution and be licensed to practice in Wisconsin; evaluation of a child to determine eligibility; provide thorough assessment for each child entering the program; development and implementation of an individualized family service plan; provide support and services to increase the family’s capacity to meet the developmental needs of the child; ongoing review and revision of the written plan; work effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team; comply with all agency, county, and state paperwork, annual reviews, and other requirements; experience with oral/motor and sensory integration techniques a plus.
