The Role:
The Account Executive, Inside Sales is responsible for identifying and
securing online ad sales opportunities with local businesses, with support from
an industry leader. This position will
be an integral part of internal sales team, contributing directly to the
group’s success. In this exciting new
role, one will focus on expanding business by providing ad solutions to local
merchants.
An ideal candidate is an energetic, performance-driven, and efficient challenge-seeker
who is very comfortable with cold calling and prospecting. Additional duties include:
- Prospect
and close local businesses on online advertising campaigns
- Speak
and lead trainings at local or regional events, utilizing developed market
knowledge
- Increase
market revenue
Requirements:
- 1+
years experience generating sales via calls to small and mid-sized
businesses (medical, accounting, legal, contracting, catering, moving, and
other similar offices)
- Proven
successful background selling new business in a competitive environment
- Able
to quickly synthesize information and recommend solutions
- Enthusiastic
about the Internet and its ability to contribute to the success of small
businesses
- Strong
time-management skills, and ability to maximize and prioritize time
devoted to revenue-generating activities
- Excellent
written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated
in both sales and collaboration with other associates
- Ability
to thrive in competitive environments
- Thorough
understanding of what goes into small business purchasing decisions from
previous successful sales experience with similar clients
- Solid
business connections and relationships maintained with previous clients
and coworkers
- Some
undergraduate coursework completed
