Support Counselor: Community Education Centers

As a Support Counselor at our Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins, WY, you will maintain an assigned caseload of residents. You will be responsible for following Wyoming DOC contracted facility policies and procedures. You will be responsible for conducting individual and group sessions while ensuring integration of community transition services.

We seek those candidates with individual/group substance abuse counseling experience. Duties include assessment, case management, motivational enhancement and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or Bachelor Degree (Behavioral Health field) and experience in the addictions field.
