The Benefits Lead is the overall manager for benefits service delivery for a single large client. The Benefits Lead is responsible for overseeing the administration of the client’s Health and Welfare Plans (medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, dependent life, long term disability, flexible spending accounts) and the client’s leaves administration and tuition reimbursement programs. Will also be responsible for oversight of administration of Savings Plans (401k third party administration, deferred compensation, employee stock plans, compliance testing) and will have some involvement with the administration of client Defined Contribution plan by a third party vendor


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of management experience in health and welfare plans, defined contribution and/or defined benefit plan administration.

Undergraduate Degree Required.

Additional Preferred Skill Requirements:

Experience in process improvement implementation, process management and driving a metrics approach.

Knowledge of benefits laws including COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA; knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations.

Strong MS applications skills including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; can appropriately communicate with all levels of customers.
