Seven years Workers' Compensation claims handling experience.

TPA and carrier experience.

Experience with high-cost, medically complex and catastrophic claims.

Excellent analytical and investigative skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office applications.

Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Ability to multi-task.

Education: Bachelors

Description:

Chartis has an opportunity for a Worker's Compensation Analyst in their Vendor Services Department.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

Oversee claims in multiple jurisdictions which involves monitoring and providing direction to TPA's handling claims for Chartis companies and customers.

Make payments and respond to re-insurer requests.

Review and analyze claims submitted by TPA's, complete an independent analysis on each assigned claim and devise and implement management/resolution strategies that add value and have a positive impact on the file.

Attend mediations, visit insureds, monitor trials, participate in file reviews, and facilitate recoveries/credits from second injury funds and manage special projects as assigned.
