Job Title: Food Service Technology Instructor
Job Location: Harnett Correctional (HCI)
Position Description:

Full-time position based at the Harnett Correctional Institution. The successful candidate will use student centered methods to teach Food Service Technology courses to students in a correctional setting. Teach required basic skills in safety and sanitation, quantity cooking methods including baking, foodservice equipment, and menu planning.

Required Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Food Service Technology or Culinary Arts and experience in institutional and quantity cooking. Certification and or Licensure in field with at least 5 years of experience will be considered in lieu of an Associate Degree. Must possess supervisory experience including the supervision of cooks and other kitchen personnel and specific skills in safety, sanitation, food preparations and baking.

Preferred Qualifications:

Work Schedule: M-F 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Salary: Hiring Range: $3825-$4325 monthly (10 month schedule). Benefits included.
