The Senior Publications Writer will contribute to the dissemination phase of multiple economic, sociologic, epidemiologic, or other types of health services research and evaluation projects. She or he will be responsible for writing up the final project deliverables. These deliverables will be concise and easy to read, incorporating the analysis plan, analytic results, and a review of the literature. The deliverables may be in the form of internal reports, slide decks, or peer reviewed publications. In addition, he or she will create abstracts, posters, and podium presentations for national conferences. The Senior Publications Writer will report to the Vice President, Research & Development in the Healthcare Innovation and Information Group at Ingenix.

We are seeking candidates with:
- Post-graduate degree in a related field plus some relevant experience in the insurance industry
- Able to understand and present data correctly, clearly, and concisely in a variety of media
- Knowledge of research / policy regarding the elderly and near elderly desired
- Able to work collaboratively as well as independently to produce high quality deliverables within specified timeframe
- Able to conduct multiple projects concurrently
- Three to eight years experience in medical publications writing is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications essential
- Must have excellent writing and editing skills
- Outstanding analytic and problem-solving skills; demonstrated self-motivation, sound judgment, and attention to detail
- Location in city with Ingenix office (Ann Arbor, MI; Eden Prairie, MN, Waltham, MA, Washington, DC, or other). Some travel required.
- Graphic Design experience highly preferred.
