This role will provide support for the growing network environment. This includes main-taining connectivity, security, etc. across the entire enterprise. Key deliverable will be network monitoring, providing reliable networks as well as assisting in the deployment of network based applications. Additionally, this position could be responsible for data center and facility build outs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Recommends solutions related to network solutions to meet and improve the company needs.
- Participates in tactical leadership and decision-making for company-wide business systems needs.
- Assists in the presentation of information to management resulting in the purchase or upgrade of hardware, software, and network and telecommunication equipment.
- Recommends budget amounts and options for future enhancements.
- Maintains knowledge of computing technology and application through continuing education.
- Communicates, verbally and in writing, to third parties and internal users in the installation, problem identification, and trouble shooting processes.
- Maintains detailed records of communication, correspondence and responses to assist in planning process.
- Researches questions and follows-up regarding networking solutions. Coordinate with others in developing solutions.
- Train other Health Dialog personnel on network related process and technology.
- Trouble-shoot networking problems via hardware and software.
- Monitors the Health Dialog networking environment.
- Assist with the establishment and implementation of Heath Dialog computer policies, procedures, and standards and ensure their conformance with company objectives.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive company and PHI data without exception.
- Provide weekly written status to direct management.
- Document technical changes as needed during implementation and modification.
- Coordinates special projects related to department and company goals, as assigned.
- Indirectly supervises staff during project implementation. Contributes to the positive team efforts of the department and company.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
