GENERAL MANAGER OF HOLLY SPRINGS UTILITY DEPARTMENT The City of Holly Springs is conducting a search for a candidate to fill the position of its general manager. The general manager duties include managing all aspects of Electric, Water, Gas and Sewer Department operations. Minimum qualifications including a bachelors degree in electrical engineering, business administration or accounting and ten years of extensive management and supervisory experience. Experience in power distribution and electrical engineering preferred. The City of Holly Springs offers an excellent benefit/ retirement package and a salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Holly Springs is located 30 miles southeast of Memphis in northern Mississippi with a population of 8014. Holly Springs Utility Department serves over 11000 electric customers in parts of Marshall, Benton and Lafayette counties in Mississippi and Fayette and Hardaman counties in Tennessee. It has over 2500 water, sewer and gas customers in the city and another 500 in the county with plans for expansion. Holly Springs Utility Department has 70 full-time employees, and about 1275 miles of line.
