Plant Engineering Dept Manager



Our Client, an Industrial Manufacturer, is seeking a Department level Engineering Manager to be responsible for ME's, EE's, Drafting personnel, & Project Engineering within the Plant Engineering organization for their Manufacturing facility located in South Central Iowa.

Responsibilities include:

  • Equipment projects, facility upgrades, & emergency work scenarios.
  • Engineering strategic planning for Plant Engineering
  • Develop Capital, service, and expense budgets.
  • Coordinates Project Engineering activity with other functions' support areas.
  • Management of Projects for resources, timelines, budgets, program support, and contingencies.
  • Presentation to Plant Management for project priorities, backlog, schedules, & budgets.
  • Document work processes, meet drafting requirements, and ensure database programming.

Requirements include:

  • BS Engineering
  • 7 years Engineering experience, including supervision
