CONTROLLER – Construction Industry

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Salary and Bonus Opportunity Commensurate with Skills and Experience

North Texas construction company is currently seeking a professional, proactive and detail-oriented Controller. This person will be managing the day-to-day accounting and ensuring the accuracy of all financial reporting. A solid understanding of construction accounting is necessary to be successful in this position.

Qualifications:

· Bachelors Degree in Accounting.

· CPA a plus but not required.

· 10+ years solid accounting experience. Construction and/or industrial accounting experience in a leadership position is also required.

· Excellent communication skills. Must be capable of interacting with all levels of personnel in the organization, as well as third parties.

· Self-starter who is willing to accept responsibility and ownership for their function within the company.

· Strong technical skills with advanced Microsoft capabilities, diverse accounting software exposure and mainframe computer applications.
