Providence is calling a Coding and Compliance Manager- RCM Professional Fee division.
The Coding and Compliance Manager is responsible for management of on and offsite Coding Auditors in the Providence Washington / Montana Region. The Manager and coding team provides education to Providers, Clinic Managers, Support staff, Production Coders and Billing staff. The Coding Manager will develop and maintain department policies and procedures, training materials related to coding education, conduct coding staff quality coding reviews, provides an organization-wide resource to resolve coding issues, help manage coding content and updates to the EMR system, conduct annual performance reviews, workflow and production monitoring and supports coding team by conducting provider compliance audits and trainings. The Coding Manager makes sure all coders are up to date on all federal and state guidelines and links all activities to Corporate compliance.
We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence.
Position Specifics.
This full time position is located at Providence Regional Services in Renton, WA. Travel is required throughout Washington and Western Montana.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Licenses/Certifications: AAPC, RHIA or RHIT certification required. Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification preferred
Experience: Four or more years of health care experience in a multi-specialty physician group practice with extensive experience with CPT and ICD-9 coding. Management experience with coders required.
