Legal Helpers is the country’s most established and largest bankruptcy law firm. The company is headquartered in Chicago, IL but has over 30 offices throughout the country. Legal Helpers specializes in filing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies as well as plaintiff representation personal injury, FDCPA, Social Security, and Worker’s Compensation. Legal Helpers is a client-based organization dedicated to providing good customer service and fast results.

A Legal Assistant is responsible for handling high incoming call volume from potential and current clients.

Responsibilities:
• Answering 70-100 incoming calls from potential clients including setting up consultation appointments, answering initial questions and creating candidate records in database.
• Answering calls from current clients regarding billing, office locations, bankruptcy, documents and other questions.
• Updating the database to include client information including calls and questions and how each situation was resolved.

Requirements:
• A College Degree is required. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in legal, phone related customer service, inside sales or similar experience.
• A strong work ethic, a great attitude and good phone communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

Specifications:
• The Legal Assistant position is a full time position including 40 hours per week plus 5 hours a week of overtime (at time-and-a-half).
• Knowledge of Windows software.
• The ability to type at least 50 wpm.
