Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent provides leadership and overall direction to an Operations team (packaging, line maintenance, material handling and processing), to ensure manufacturing objectives and results are accomplished in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Performance coaching, development and appraisal, training, meeting established production and quality standards, budget management, maintenance support, process control coordination, quality assurance, reliability, sanitation, etc.


The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline and at least 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a food/beverage or other manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills are required – including conflict resolution, training, facilitation, and presentation skills. Solid computer skills, as well as a general business and financial knowledge base and technical aptitude are required. Experience with Lean or Six Sigma tools and methodologies is a plus.
