Senior IT Systems Analyst - Basking Ridge, NJ
Position Description:
This person will work in an area that works with proposed business requirements that are focused on improving system automation and improving operational efficiency. These are statutory mandates that must be kept in HIPAA compliance, and this person will be responsible for managing the flow of data between providers and members. The analyst will work with the data's current state, then work with white papers to develop end state of the data. This will require analysis of business requirements, gap analysis, and develop impact analysis. This person would be involved with overseeing the development of system designs for these different transaction types. They will conduct JAD sessions with business users, develop data exchange analysis, and will write and develop reporting around this data analysis. In addition, this person will be responsible for overseeing data analysis attached to system changes. Qualifications Qualifications:
Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years Healthcare Claims Processing Experience
- 3 - 5 years experience analyzing business requirements and turning those into technical specifications
- 3 - 5 years of management experience
- Intermediate level of skill with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Assets:
- Experience with HIPAA Compliance Transactions
- Familiarity with Mercury/HP Defect tools (Test Director, etc.)
- PMP Certification
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
